Newsletters Help gather information from board members, meeting minutes, etc. to include in a bi-monthly newsletter to be sent to all individuals and businesses on our mailing list. Help with printing, folding, stuffing envelopes, mailing as needed.

Church Relations Become involved with creating relationships between Habitat and the churches in Perry County through Habitat's Church Relations Committee.

Become involved with the Development Committee. This is the committee that comes up with the ideas for fund-raising and publicity for the organization and then directs the execution of those ideas.

Office Workers Help to maintain the mailing list either through data entry or searching out current address information. Volunteer to work in the office in New Bloomfield on a part-time basis (a couple hours each week) to answer phones, do filing, computer work, etc.

Advertising Create posters, tickets, etc. as needed for fund-raising events. Contact newspapers, radio and TV stations to advertise events.

Historian Clip articles about Habitat for Humanity from area newspapers. Create scrapbooks of articles, photos, newsletters, event advertising, etc. to provide a visual history of Habitat for Humanity Perry County. These scrapbooks will be used at fairs, seminars and events to generate conversation and provide documentation of our progress to those interested in learning more about Habitat.

Building We are always looking for volunteers willing to come out to our current site and donate some hours in a labor of love. General building skills are desirable, but not necessary.
*** Children under age 16 are not allowed to work on a construction site in accordance with national child labor laws.

Volunteer Time We also need people to man informational booths throughout the year.

To volunteer to help (on the construction project or in any number of other ways), contact John Kiner at jkiner48@embarqmail.com.

Photographer Take candid pictures at special events and at current project sites to provide a pictorial history of HFHPC. These pictures could be used in newsletters, news articles, pamphlets, brochures or by the historian.

Become a Faith Partner you can help by pledging to make monthly donations in any amount.
