ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

We will be working during the week at various times from now on, so there are opportunities for volunteering during the week. If you are interested in working during those times, please email me to check the days and the times. jkiner48@embarqmail.com

Saturday times are 8 to noon when we break for a lunch which is provided by volunteers from various churches and individuals. We then work for several hours in the afternoon until we finish the day's work. If you are interested in Saturday work, you can show up on the site around 8 a.m. and sign in and you are good to go. It helps us if you would email us back at the above address and let us know if you are planning on being there so we can plan work and lunches a little better, but this is not absolutely necessary on Saturdays.

Although you are always welcome to come out to the site on any Saturday to volunteer, we are also going to try and coordinate our volunteer efforts a little better this year. I'm asking that anyone interested in volunteering contact me with dates that you would like to work. I will continue to update you on what we have done the previous week and what we will be doing in the upcoming week so you have an idea of where we are in the project and where we are going to be.   jkiner48@embarqmail.com

If you are coming to work at the job site, it would be helpful if you have the following:
• Framing hammer (16 oz. minimum)
• Nail apron or tool belt
• Retractable utility knife with extra blades
• Measuring tape (16’ minimum)
• Square (speed or combination square)
• Pencils (at least 2)
• Safety glasses
• Work gloves
If you do not have all of these tools, there are a limited number of these tools available at the site.

We would remind you that you must be 16 years old to work at the site while construction is going on and that you should sign in when you arrive and be sure to have signed a waiver of liability before beginning. The waiver is good for one year and needs to be done only once. Sign-in is a daily necessity.
